Melissa Entrican Monroe, RID
After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with the specialty of Interior Architectural Design, she blended her love of Aviation and Design and began her career as an Interior Designer for a boutique completion center in Texas outfitting custom private aircraft. She cut her teeth traveling the world designing for CEO's, Heads of State and High Net- Worth Individuals. While at K-C Aviation, she worked with hundreds of clients, built a highly successful design team, and made allot of friends along the way. When K-C Aviation was acquired ten years later by Gulfstream Aerospace, she continued her role as Director of Design. Gulfstream broadened her reached, and she thrived while re-building the design team there, and of course, meeting and working with the most fascinating clients.
She is an industry expert in executive aircraft interior design and management. Her design skills include efficient and masterful use of space planning as required on the tight space regulations of aircraft. Building relationships with talented artisans and ateliers along with exquisite selections of the highest-end materials helps her create elegant, amenity-filled spaces for her clients. Every function is thoughtfully and carefully worked into her designs. Unique and special clients have led to her knowledge in acoustical improvements as well as minimizing air toxicity through working with the world's elite in these specialized areas of expertise.
In 2000, Melissa left Gulfstream to launch her design studio, Entrican Design. She now enjoys working with clients in many specialties. Her projects range from aircraft to automobile and yaht to architectural spaces as well as designing collections and product. Her latest endeavors include publishing children’s illustrated books and launching a new business, Margin Studio which is coming soon. Always dreaming and designing, Melissa strives to create experiences in unique ways.
